Year of The Rat is about to come knocking on the door of every house, yet not all houses. There are still many disadvantaged people and families who could not afford to celebrate the Lunar New Year like others. Thus, IMRT students had decided to bring a little happiness of the season to those in need on this occasion.
“Xuan Tinh Nguyen 2020” is a campaign launched by IMRT in collaboration with People’s Committee and Youth Union of Tan Dinh Ward.
On January 12, with exciting prizes awaited, IMRT students were observed holding multiple outdoor activities for the children to enjoy, some of which were bowling, sack racing and three-legged race. The children were then welcomed on stage to give a performance. The melody of spring was heard on the street, creating such vibrant and festive atmosphere on the day.
In collaboration with People’s Committee and Youth Union of Tan Dinh Ward, IMRT is proud to have given out 70 presents to the unfortunate children in the region. Additionally, IMRT students also helped out the elderly to paint a new look for their house this spring.
Through the event, IMRT students would like to give a big thank you to all the officials, employees and lecturers who have made a great contribution towards such good cause.
